Honeycomb Brownies

Hilltop Honey Comb & Cinnamon Brownies

A soft, mouthwatering and chocolatey brownie, topped with honey comb and chocolate pieces.

  • 100 g apple puree
  • 100 g gluten free flour
  • 20 g Cut Comb in Hilltop Honey
  • 50 g coconut sugar
  • 3 heaped tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 3 whole eggs
  • Handful Hilltop Honey Cut Comb
  • 20 g ground almonds
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch salt
  • Handful chopped raw/dark chocolate
  • Heaped tsp cinnamon


  1. Preheat your oven to 180c and line/grase a brownie tray or cake tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl or food processor, combine the hilltop honey, sugar and apple puree and cream these together.
  3. Crack in each of the eggs one at a time and beat well.
  4. Add in the dry ingredients and continue to mix until everything is well combine and you’re left with a nice and smooth batter.
  5. Pour the mixture into your tin and scatter the honey comb and chocolate pieces.
  6. Bake these in the oven for around 15 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean when pierced into the cake.
  7. Slice into portions and enjoy!
