REPORTS TO: Warehouse/Supply Chain

DEPARTMENT: Head Of Supply

HOURS OF WORK: Full Time – 41.25 hours weekly. Monday – Friday, 7:45am-4:30pm

LOCATION: Newtown

RATE OF PAY: Depending On Experience

 

We are looking for a new team member to work within our Warehouse department.

Ideally, we are looking for an individual who is willing to learn and grow with the company. This role is best suited to a responsible person with good attention to detail, who can work well within a team.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in stock taking

  • Experience in receiving goods in

  • Experience in picking & Dispatch

     

  • Dispatch Orders – including arranging transport

     

  • Experience in stock movement & flow

     

  • Manage WIP/QC stock

     

  • Pick production Reqs

     

  • Manage single stock levels for the online shop

     

  • Experience in working to site KPI’s

     

  • Excellent team working skills & the ability to use own initiative

     

  • Experience in using automated stock control systems

     

  • Microsoft office experience

Key Skills:

  • Good level of education
  • Be computer literate – Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint is advantageous
  • Sales and commercial sales experience preferred but, on the job, training will be provided

 Hilltop is currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to strengthen our team and support the phenomenal growth we have enjoyed for over 10 years.

We manufacture a fantastic range of honey, syrups, and sauces in both brand and own label, operating across several market channels and are the 2nd largest honey brand in the UK, an exciting challenger business, winning multiple awards over the last few years for both business growth & product quality (Sunday Times Fast Track 100, The Grocer top 10 spreads brands, Wales fast growth 50 & several great taste awards). 

The role will be predominantly office based, flexible working and working from home options can be discussed at interview. You will also be needed to attend customer meetings as and when required.

You will be supporting the team in a varied capacity to maximise sustainable profitable growth across our branded and own label business. This role is critical to smooth and efficient running of Customer Accounts, ensuring all administration is kept up to date in line with internal and Customer guidelines.

The successful candidate must be able to build strong relationships and interface across multiple functions both internally and externally

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep up to date with internal and customer administration. including volume forecasts, promotional monitoring, and accruals.
  • Drive sales where possible by cross selling / up selling to existing accounts
  • Assist chasing leads to develop new business where possible
  • Develop expert knowledge of customer and internal systems
  • Sales and promotional reporting and analysis
  • Work cross functionally across all internal departments

Key Skills:

  • Good level of education
  • Be computer literate – Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint is advantageous
  • Sales and commercial sales experience preferred but, on the job, training will be provided

 The role will be home based but will require attendance in the office for an agreed number of days which can be open to discussion at interview stage. You will also need to attend customer meetings as and when required.

 The objective of this role will be the overall commercial management of a portfolio of key customers, aiming to maximise sustainable & profitable growth utilising our range of branded and customer own label products as well as supporting new product development across both.

 Key Responsibilities:

  •  Drive sales, profit, distribution, and viability within an agreed portfolio, achieving and exceeding agreed targets.
  • Managing existing business as well as identifying new opportunities. Negotiating, annual terms, new listings, and promotions as well as CPI.
  • Sales forecasting, reporting and analysis (against budget and YOY), sharing insights across the business.
  • Work cross functionally across all internal departments, both remotely and in the office/factory.

Key Skills:

  • ·5+ years FMCG sales background with experience of agreeing & managing Joint Business Plans
  • Experience of brand and retail own label, preferably in an ambient food business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong selling skills
  • Strong negotiation skills.
