Maple Syrup is one of Scott's favourites and we thought we would share this simple and flavoursome family recipe.
Try this recipe out yourself - trust us, you won't be disappointed!
1 ½ pound salmon fillet cut into 6 equal pieces
¼ cup butter unsalted, melted
¼ cup of Hilltop Very Dark Maple Syrup (or amber or maple blend)
2 tbsp wholegrain mustard
2 tbsp soy sauce
Pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 425 F Degrees (between 218-220 Degree Celsius).
Arrange the salmon fillets on a baking tray.
In a small bowl, whisk up the butter, maple syrup, mustard & soy sauce. Pour over the salmon. Add some freshly ground pepper.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Enjoy with some lovely greens or however you like!
