  • Your favourite chocolate spread, alternatively you could also use jam or caramel sauce.
  • You will also need a ghost cookie cutter, or improvise with a hand drawn cardboard template.

Directions

  1. Pre heat your oven to 170ºc and line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and ginger. Put to one side.
  3. In another medium bowl, cream together your butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the Hilltop Hot Honey and 1 egg and whisk until combined.
  5. Fold in the flour mix and combine until you have a neat ball of dough. Place between two sheets of greaseproof paper and roll until 0.5cm thick.
  6. Cut out as many ghost shapes as you can, re-rolling the scraps until the dough is used up. On half of the shapes cut out two eyes and a mouth with the end of a straw or piping nozzle.
  7. Bake for 8-9 minutes and leave to cool.
  8. Once cooled, sandwich together with your favourite chocolate spread and enjoy!
