Make your morning better with made-from-scratch Old Fashioned Buttermilk Pancakes. Light and fluffy with just a touch of sweetness, this classic recipe has been the centrepiece of the breakfast table for generations.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 50g sugar
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 200ml buttermilk
- pinch of salt
- 200g flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1tbs melted butter
- Hilltop Amber Maple Syrup
Directions
- Separate egg whites and egg yolks in two different bowls.
- Mix yolks with sugar, vanilla extract and milk.
Sift in the flour, baking soda and salt.
- Separately whisk egg whites into a thick foam, stiff peaks.
- Fold in egg whites into the batter then fold in melted butter.
- Place oil in a pan and fry pancakes.
- Top with extra butter and maple syrup.
