A yummy treat dinner. The honey giving the ham a bit of a sweet kick to the taste of the ham.
1 Ham Joint
3 tbsp Hilltop Honey
1 tbsp Mustard (we like Grey Poupon)
Cloves (Approx 20)
Preheat the oven to 220C / 200C Fan / Gas mark 7
Place ham in a large pan of cold water and bring to the boil
Discard the cooking water then cover again with fresh water
Add a whole onion, bay leaves and a few cloves
Bring to the boil, then simmer, the ham part covered for 15-20 minutes
Score the fat of the ham diagonally, creating a diamond pattern
Take your cloves and place them at the points of the diamond shapes
In a small bowl, mix the honey and mustard. Brush the mixture over the ham
Bake for 30 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbling
Serve your Hilltop Honey Glazed Ham, sliced, hot or cold.
