Hot Honey Udon Noodles

These are SPEEDY, moreish and you probably have all the ingredients in your cupboard!

When I say speedy it’s because as SOON as your oil is hot in the wok, you need to act fast, so keep everything prepped.

Hot Honey Udon Noodles

Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp sesame oil
    • Handful of finely chopped spring onions
    • 1.5 heaped tbsp peanut butter
    • 1 tbsp Chilli garlic sauce (or any hot sauce)

    • 3 tbsp soy sauce

    • 1 tbsp blended garlic
    • 1 tbsp ginger
    • 1 tbsp Hilltop Hot Honey

    • 3 tbsp water
    • Straight to wok udon noodles (300g)

    • Chilli oil
    • Hilltop Hot Honey
    • Red/green chopped chillies
    • Chopped coriander/chives
    • White and black sesame seeds
    • Finely sliced spring onions
    • Crushed peanuts

    Directions

    1. Add all the sauce ingredients except the sesame oil, spring onions and water to a bowl and mix.
    2. Add sesame oil to a hot wok, then quickly add in the spring onions.
    3. Then add in the sauce and quickly mix.
    4. Lower the heat, add in the noodles followed by gradually adding in the water until the noodles are separated, using a fork helps with this!
    5. Stir fry for 1-2 minutes until heated through. Then finish by adding by all your toppings! I enjoyed mine with a crispy fried egg on top!
