Ingredients
- 180g baking butter
- 180g dark brown sugar
- 3 medium eggs
- 1tsp caramel extract
- 180g self-raising flour
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp all spice
- 1/2 tsp sweet cinnamon
- 125g dark chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 mashed banana
- Drizzle of Hilltop Amber Maple Syrup
Directions
- Start by creaming together the butter and sugar.
- Add in the eggs and caramel flavouring until fully combined.
- Add in all the dry ingredients and fold together.
- Add in the dark chocolate chips and milk and mix.
- Then add in the mashed banana.
- Spread into a loaf tin and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once baked pierce holes in the top of the loaf cake and drizzle over the maple syrup.
- Leave to cool slightly and serve with custard.
