4 tablespoons Very Dark Maple Syrup
Toast your oats.
Crush your digestives unevenly.
Mix the two together.
Add the melted butter, sugar, and maple syrup.
Give it a good mix.
Add your extra optional ingredients.
Press the mixture well into your lined baking tin.
Bake for approximately 15 minutes at 160 degrees until the top is golden brown.
Portion whilst warm.
Add desiccated coconut on top if you prefer.
