The Ultimate Hot Honey Pizza!
310 ml lukewarm water
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Hilltop Hot Honey
680 g flour
2 tsp instant dry yeast
½ tsp salt
In a bowl, combine water, oil & hot honey & set aside.
In a large bowl with a wooden spoon, combine the flour, yeast & salt. Add the water mix and stir until it forms a soft ball. Knead the dough for 3 minutes on a lightly floured surface.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a damp cloth & let it rise in a warm place for about an hour or until the dough doubles in size
Preheat oven to 210°C and lightly grease a baking sheet. Shape your dough, punching it down to release any air bubbles. Divide the dough in half & after lightly dusting your work surface, using a rolling pin and stretch the doughs into two 12-inch circles
Top & bake your pizza with whatever you like for 12-15 minutes. Our personal favourite is tomato passata, mozzarella & serrano ham, topped with fresh rocket & another squeeze of Hot Honey once it's fresh out the oven!
Slice the pizza & serve immediately!
